Professor Robert Zimmer
Founder & CEO
Robert has forty years of university teaching and leadership experience in mathematics, artificial intelligence, and digital education. He holds degrees from MIT, Cambridge University, and Columbia University. As Head of Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London, he grew department revenue from £3M to £15M and founded the Global Online and Adaptable Learning initiative, reaching over 10,000 learners in 140+ countries. He founded the E-TEACH charity and Learning Studios Online to make quality education more accessible.
Professor James Ohene-Djan
Director of Systems Development and Integration
James has over 25 years of experience in Internet technologies and digital ventures. At AI4Better, he leads the integration of intelligent systems into real-world applications, particularly in healthcare. He created MiCode, a secure QR-based platform for medical communication, and pioneered digital video platforms including WinkBall and Viewtalk. He combines advanced technology with entrepreneurial insight to deliver practical digital solutions.
Professor Mark d'Inverno
Director – AI Applications & Creativity
Mark is Professor of Musical Performance and Computer Science at Hong Kong Baptist University. He works at the intersection of artificial intelligence, creativity, ethics, and human values. With degrees from Oxford and UCL, he has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles and combines scientific expertise with four decades of musical performance. Former Director of Research at Goldsmiths, he is committed to public engagement and ethical AI development.
